Notti di Mezza Estate 9th edition

On the occasion of Estate Fiorentina 2018 Lo schermo dell’arte presents a programme of three documentaries and three artists’ films. The Foreigner’s Home, Koudelka Shooting Holy Land and China’s Van Goghs highlights the importance of contemporary art and its characters in problematizing cultural identity and racial and religious tensions. Using different poetic and ironic approaches the artists Adrian Paci, Alterazioni Video and Nico Angiuli reflect on topics that influence their and our ordinary life such as migration and integration.

The programme, that will take place in the special frame of Piazzale degli Uffizi, is part of the strategic project of Estate Fiorentina 2018 “Apriti Cinema”, film festival oraganized by Quelli della Compagnia di Fondazione Sistema Toscana and associazione Quelli dell’Alfieri.
