Manifesto

by Julian Rosefeldt, Germania, Australia 2017, 95′

The Communist Manifesto narrated by a homeless, dadaist’s mottos played by a widow during a funeral oration, Dogma 95 described by a school teacher to her students. 13 distinct characters celebrate artistic movements in different scenarios, through a witty collage of famous manifestos from the 20th century written by Rosefeldt and interpreted by Oscar-winning Australian actress Cate Blanchett.
