A portrait of Italian photographer Mario Giacomell, produced for the celebrated series Contacts on French TV channel ARTE, with the photographer’s discreet commentary. The two authors approach a work in which man is the principal subject with great sensitivity.
Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi. Both born in 1942, Yervant became an architect in Venice, Angela became a painter in Salzburg. They’ve won many awards and participated in major international film festivals, including Venice, Cannes, Locarno. They’ve been protagonists of major retrospectives in museums world-wide, including Mart Rovereto (2008), MoMA New York (2009), Hangar Bicocca Milano (2012), Centre Pompidou Paris (2015).
