The result of a film workshop in which students were invited to imagine wishes for their school, their neighborhood, and for the film itself. The outcome is a collective narrative of Florence’s District 4, exploring the connection to the local area through video footage and materials sourced from the web: a poetic and visionary portrait, suspended between reality and possibility, shaped by the gaze of the new generations. The film is the result of the workshop Like in a Documentary, part of Oltre lo schermo – 2nd edition, a project by Lo Schermo dell’arte, carried out within the framework of the National Plan Cinema and Images for Schools promoted by MiC and MIM, and supported by Fondazione CR Firenze as part of the PARTECIPAZIONE CULTURALE program.
