In Puglia, amid a landscape marked by caves and underground caverns, farmers and amateur archaeologists find themselves in conflict with the criminal world of tomb raiders. Bringing together geology, archaeology, and ecology, the film investigates the impact of illegal excavations on the Apulian landscape and its communities, while also revealing a deep knowledge and nuanced understanding of the territory and its social and political dimensions.
